Nsbm bands

NSBM bands (National Socialist black metal) are black metal bands that promotes Nazi philosophy through their lyrics and imagery. These types of values often include: white supremacy, racial separatism, antisemitism, and National Socialist understanding of paganism or Satanism called Nazi mysticism. According to Mattias Gardell, NSBM bands and artists see “National socialism as a logical extension of the political and spiritual dissidence inherent in black metal”. Others, among them Josh Euclid, have indicated: “It is the sickening stain on the face of metal.”
Bands whose members have Nazi beliefs but do not show these via their lyrics are usually not regarded as NSBM by black metal performers, but are labelled as such in press reports. A few black metal bands have made references to Nazi Germany simply for shock benefits.

Although many white nationalists have warmly received NSBM regarding its lyrical content and values, others have not, because of to the music style as well as what they understand as its connection with sex, drugs and rock & roll. Some also refuse black metal band members and fans for having long hair, which they connect along with hippies and left-wingers.
